Bayvil Holiday Cottage, Felindre, Nevern, Pembrokeshire

Bayvil is a cosy family-owned Welsh farmhouse near Nevern, Pembrokeshire, lovingly restored to blend original features with modern comforts. Located within Pembrokeshire National Park, Bayvil is close to the beautiful beaches and coves of north Pembrokeshire. It lies just 4 miles from Newport, between the charming villages of Nevern and Felindre-Farchog.

Bayvil offers stunning rural views of fields and the Preseli Hills - the source of Stonehenge's stones. It has a National Park path nearby and shares a private lane with the unused 18th-century Bayvil Church. Nevern is known for its historical sites, including an ancient church with a Bleeding Yew tree, a Celtic cross, and a Norman castle.

Bayvil offers 4 bedrooms split across two separate first floor areas, accessed by two different stairways. First floor 1 has a king size en-suite room, and the other 3 bedrooms are all on first floor 2 as well as a shared family bathroom. All upstairs rooms have countryside views.

On the ground floor, Bayvil offers a cosy sitting room with a large smart TV, electric fire, sofa, arm chairs, coffee table, office desk & chair. The living room offers plenty of sofas and chairs for 8, a log burner and dining table with seating for 8. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare and cater to all your cooking needs. It has a large electric range cooker, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, table, Welsh Settle, and offers laundry facilities in the way of a washing machine, iron and ironing board and an air dryer. The kitchen leads out through French doors on to the patio.

The outside features a small patio area with garden furniture, complete with a BBQ, rotary washing line, and outside tap. There is also a small rear lawn, and both the patio and garden overlook a pony field. At the front of the cottage, there is a lovely lawned garden with a child's double swing, accessed by a wooden bridge over a little stream. A lockable shed is available for kayaks, surfboards, paddleboards and bikes. There is a large gravel drive way with parking available for three cars.

The local area of Felindre features excellent woodland walks in Pengelli Forest and Ty Canol Woods. Newport, just 4 miles away, where you’ll find a fantastic collection of cafes, restaurants, pubs, art galleries, shops, and Parrog Beach.

Bayvil is a pet free holiday cottage, so no dogs or cats are allowed.
