History
Dinas Cross is an old fishing village which is flanked by both the hamlets of Cwm yr Eglwys with it’s historic Church Ruins and Pwllgwaelod. Originally inhabited and favoured by sea captains, who built most of the original houses.

Dinas Walks
Beautiful circular walk around Dinas Head Island, reachable by foot from the village. Start either at Pwll Gwaelod beach or at Cwm yr Eglwys beach and make your way around the headland, taking in the breath taking scenery. Needle Rock is worth noting for it’s large nesting colony of seabirds.
