Dinas Holiday Guide

Deudraeth-024.jpg

Deudraeth is a gorgeous place for families to gather for those special weeks away. Whether it’s a summer holiday with lazy days spent on the beach followed by a traditional fish & chip supper and watching the sun go down or an autumn half term where wellies are a necessity, but incredible blow-the-cobwebs-away walks are guaranteed especially along Newport Beach or up Carningli Mountain. Deudraeth in Welsh means ‘Two Beaches’ and you will have just that, right on your doorstep. Pwll Gwaelod and Cwm yr Eglwys are both within a short walk away, either side of Dinas Head (a gorgeous two hour walk, perfect for panoramic views across the bay).

Deudraeth sleeps 6 comfortably with the option for a travel cot too if you’re bringing along the tiny ones. Dogs are also welcome too and so the enclosed garden is perfect for keeping safe when all you want to do is put your feet up in the sunshine for half an hour.

The kitchen is well equipped for cooking for the whole family, with a large dining space too. If cooking isn’t what you fancy whilst on holiday there are two great pubs within walking distance and a traditional fish & chip shop. There is also a well equipped local village shop which has an abundance of fabulous local produce.

Deudraeth also has a great utility room which is perfect for any washing you might have after those extra muddy walks or the sandy little ones who have jumped in the sea a little too enthusiastically.
