Unique 2 property holiday let set on Carn Ingli 'Angels' Mountain with stunning views of the sea, countryside & town

Nant Y Rhedyn old stone house in the Newport Countryside

Nant Y Rhedyn - Newport, Pembrokeshire

Nant y Rhedyn is a wonderful and unique holiday let, with a main house and a separate annexe for guests to enjoy. Sitting on the slopes of Carn Ingli mountain in the heart of Pembrokeshire National Park in West Wales, it overlooks Newport town and offers wonderful sea views. It's just a 10-minute walk down the hill to the village of Newport where you'll find lovely shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants.

Both the main house and the annex were both fully refurbished in 2017. The property is ideal for two families, sleeping 6 in the main house and 4 in the annex.

The main cottage consists of two double rooms and a twin room, which also has an additional sofa bed if you require 2 extra guests. It has a wet room shower downstairs, a bath/shower upstairs and a separate toilet. The kitchen-dinning area has a brand new, well-equipped kitchen with a gas hob, electric cooker, American fridge, dishwasher, television and sofa. Sliding doors from the dining area open to the sheltered back garden, with a large built in BBQ. The kitchen leads onto the utility room with an additional dishwasher, fridge and pantry space. The living room offers plenty of comfortable seating for all to gather in, relax or play games, it also has a smart TV and a log burning stove, perfect for cold evenings or a rainy day. The sitting room has seating for ten people, with a smart TV and a log burning stove, perfect for a rainy day.

The annex is separate from the main house, set further down the garden. It has one double room with stunning sea views, which leads out onto decking and garden through a large sliding door. The other bedroom is a twin room and there is a shared bathroom. There is also an outside shower on the front decking (shower with a view).

The large garden has stunning views across the Pembrokeshire coastline and countryside. With a combination of lawns, banks, wild flowers, shrubs and trees, it's a delightful space for all to unwind. There is outside furniture available on the front lawn, while the back garden behind the main house offers a sheltered space with a BBQ area.

From Nant Y Rhedyn it is just a 10 minute walk from Newport and all the wonderful independent shops, restaurants and pubs that Newport offers. Behind the house, you can take an invigorating walk up the mountain and walk a stretch of the Preseli Hills, or drop down to the coast for a walk along the spectacular Pembrokeshire coastal path. The main beach, Newport Sands, is just over a mile away and is perfect dogs to run, for playing all games and swimming. A mooring is available if you wish to bring a boat.

Nant Y Rhedyn is a pet friendly holiday cottage, so bring your four legged friends with you. They will love the house, garden, beach and exploring the Pembrokeshire countryside with you.
