Ty Od Newport - A dog friendly holiday home in Newport Pembs.
Ty Od is a luxurious townhouse sleeping 8 in the heart of Newport, Pembrokeshire. A stone’s throw from Parrog & Trefdraeth Beaches, the world famous Pembrokeshire coastal path, and Carningli Mountain. It’s the perfect combination of town and countryside.
The house is tucked away down a private drive with ample parking for two cars. An outdoor shower is a perfect spot for washing sandy toes and wetsuits after a day of seaside adventures. The south facing garden is fully secure and completely private with comfortable outdoor dining furniture and a BBQ firepit - a great space to spend cosy summer evenings.
Inside the house, there is a large entrance boot room for all those walking boots, wetsuits, and muddy paws. The open plan dining room and kitchen leads out to the south facing garden through french doors, bringing the outside in and giving plenty of light. There are two separate living rooms, one much more grown up with big squashy sofas and fireplace - the perfect spot for pre dinner drinks. The second living room is a cosy spot, with smart TV and board games, great for rainy days and cosy nights in.
Upstairs there are four luxurious bedrooms, one superking master suite with shower over bath. A second superking bedroom (which can be a twin on request), one twin bedroom, and one cabin bunk bedroom.. The large family bathroom has a double sink and waterfall shower.
Dogs are always welcome at Ty Od, and there is fabulous walking country, dog friendly beaches and dog friendly cafes and restaurants all just minutes from the front door.

Fantastic stay. Everything we needed for a family getaway. My teenage son loved the 2nd reception room. The garden is beautiful. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bedrooms are fabulous. Very tastefully decorated throughout with lots of light. Location wise it was great. We followed a couple of coastal paths and had a delicious Sunday lunch at the Golden Lion and enjoyed a few drinks in the Secret Garden. We would definitely recommend and visit again. Thanks for a fantastic stay!
Wonderful property, beautifully decorated and laid out with everything you could need and more. Sun spot with comfy outdoor furniture that you can get the sun until sunset. Perfect location. Could not want for more!
This is a lovely spacious property, great for a family/group of friends. We spent most of our time in the large kitchen diner, which is a great sociable and light space opening up onto the garden, which seemed to get the sun well into the afternoon/evening, perfect for an afternoon BBQ. A TV snug and a separate lounge worked well for us, meaning the teenagers could have their own space.The decor and artwork make the place homely and comfortable. It is also really practical, with a large entrance hallway & shower room, to clean off the sand after a day on the beach.
