Y Capel is one half of Ty Cwrdd y Mynydd. Lovingly restored to create a tranquil and stylish escape for two.
An open-plan living space with a carefully curated interior. A cosy sofa and chairs to snuggle up in, a dining space, and a kitchen area lead upstairs to a light and airy bedroom and bathroom.
Y Capel is the perfect spot to relax and rejuvenate, close to the popular town of Newport, Pembrokeshire bustling with independent shops, cafes, and restaurants.
It is also within a short drive or a longer meander down to the beach where you can meet the world-renowned Pembrokeshire Coast Path and forge your own adventure.
Set on the edge of open moorland and at the foot of Carningli known locally as the Mountain of Angels with miles of moorland perfect for exploring amongst the purple heather, ancient stones, and wild ponies. The footpath runs alongside the chapel.
Dogs are very welcome at Y Capel, but please ensure they are kept on leads at all times as there are free-roaming mountain sheep.

I have to say this is one of my favourite stays going on holiday. The chapel was so relaxing minimalistic and cosy.
Communication was excellent. Caterer for all our needs. The location is perfect. I recommend going to the Blue Lagoon which is 40 minute drive away but so worth it going around the coast and walking through the hills, we saw many horses on our way round they even started following us and letting us pat them, everyone we met in Wales was lovely.

Beautiful chapel in a stunning location. Sea views and beautiful walks all around. So peaceful yet still close enough to places. Newport is just down the road and a great little place to be based with lovely places to eat.

Fantastic property in a stunning location above Newport. The property is a perfect size for 2 and has everything you need in a nicely laid out kitchen/dining/living area. The bedroom is very spacious and it was a treat to see so many stars from the bed! It's only a 25 minute walk into Newport (and slightly longer uphill back home!) and not far to drive to beaches at Newport, Cwm Yr Eglwys, or Pwllgwaelod. There's some great coastal path walks in the area and it's worth taking a short walk up the path from Y Capel to see the views.
