A beautiful farmhouse nestled at the foot of the Preseli Hills…
TYsgarwen is the epitome of modern architecture meeting traditional building practice, seamlessly blending the old and new to create a beautiful escape for 6 at the foot of the Preseli Hills.
Sleeping 6 in three bedrooms, comprised of one king size master suite with a shower room and two double bedrooms (one can be a twin) that share the family bathroom.
Downstairs, the living space is light, bright, and airy. A cosy living room, with squashy sofas, log burners, and TV creates the perfect spot for rainy afternoons or a sleepy night in.
The kitchen is well equipped and central to the living space, with a large utility room equipped with a washing machine & tumble dryer.
The incredible main living area comprises of a dining space, large sofa and baby grand piano which are encapsulated by double aspect bifolding doors to the patio and garden with Carningli mountain.
Ysgarwen is tucked away in Cilgwyn, but just minutes from the seaside town of Newport with its wonderful independent shops, pubs & restaurants. It’s also only 10 minutes drive from the beach, and offers storage for kayaks, paddleboards, wetsuits and bikes.

An absolutely stunning place for a rural retreat! Gorgeous views and a beautiful house. We loved our stay. Megan and Emma gave us loads of great recommendations for the area and were brilliant hosts. Would highly recommend!
Idyllic location with breathtaking views of the nearby mountain. Peaceful and quiet. Farmhouse is a perfect combination of cosy historic cottage, with stark contemporary architecture that makes the most of the beautiful landscape.
Close to Newport and Cardigan for amazing food, beaches, etc, but immersed in nature and feels like a total getaway.
Amazing recommendations from Megan & Emma - fab local food (we particularly recommend the meal box from Ben Gobbi), local beaches and walks, other amenities (e.g. pizza oven hire) which really helped us get the best experience from our first visit to the area.
The most beautiful house in a breath taking setting. Our stay here was so special and the perfect way to celebrate my 30th Birthday. I could not recommend this place enough!
