The Dunes Summer House, Gwbert - Enjoy a wonderful holiday cabin with beautiful river views, and just a 2 minute stroll to the beach.
The Dunes Summer House is a modern cabin set in Gwbert, near Cardigan in West Wales, enjoying wonderful views over the River Teifi estuary, and over to Poppit Beach. With a boat club just below and Patch Beach only a one-minute walk away, it’s perfectly positioned for riverside calm and coastal adventures.
Inside, the main living space is light and open, combining a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, and lounge. The kitchen includes a cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, cutlery, and cooking equipment. The dining area seats four comfortably, while the living space features a comfy sofa, two modern single armchairs, and a Smart TV.
Large bi-fold doors open onto a wooden decking area furnished with outdoor seating and dining furniture. From here, you can take in spectacular river views and enjoy beautiful sunsets. A fire pit is also available, with logs provided.
The cabin has two bedrooms, positioned at either side for privacy. One is a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room featuring a WC, sink, shower, and heated towel rail. The second bedroom is a twin. Both bedrooms offer storage space and lovely river views from their windows.
The Dunes Summer House is dog friendly, making it an ideal choice for guests travelling with pets. Dogs will love the location, with the Wales Coast Path just across the road, Patch Beach only a minute away, scenic riverside walks nearby, and a private garden to enjoy.
Cardigan town is just a five-minute drive away and offers a great selection of independent shops, cafés, pubs, and restaurants. Around a mile from the cabin are The Flat Rock and The Cliff, both renowned for excellent food and drink, along with breathtaking views over Cardigan Bay and Cardigan Island. These can be safely reached on foot via the Wales Coast Path.
