Trefaes Cottage, St Dogmaels, Pembrokeshire
Nestled into the hillside on a quiet village lane overlooking the ruins of the historic Abbey, this beautifully restored 140-year-old cottage offers a unique blend of character, comfort, and countryside charm.
The Experience
Originally built in the late 19th century, the cottage has been thoughtfully renovated with great care taken to retain its historic character. Original stone fireplaces remain at either end of the open-plan living space, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, while solid wood flooring throughout the ground floor offers both practicality and charm.
*Please note that the fireplaces are currently decorative and not in use.
The ground floor benefits from underfloor heating, while the first floor is served by central heating radiators. Heated towel rails are provided in both bathrooms for added comfort.
As the cottage is built into the hillside and forms part of a terrace, there are a few level changes, including a step up to the front entrance.
